Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 September 2026
This policy applies to retainingwallcontractors.com.au (the site). The site publishes a retaining-wall provider directory, accepts quote requests and lets providers manage listings.
Information collected
A quote request can include your name, phone, email, suburb and project details. Provider accounts, listing submissions and claims can include account, business and contact details, reviews, images and other listing content. Newsletter subscriptions and advertising enquiries collect the details you submit. Paid features use a payment provider to process payment details.
Website use and tracking
The site uses Google Analytics and records page views, referral sources, listing and advertising interactions, and quote-form activity. Internal event tracking derives a daily visitor identifier from IP address, browser information and date; the event record stores the identifier rather than the raw IP address. Hosting providers may separately process connection logs. Cookies and browser storage support account sessions, analytics and enquiry attribution. Submitted enquiries can include the landing page, campaign parameters and advertising click identifiers.
How information is used and shared
Quote details are used to respond and, where matching is available, shared with relevant independent providers so they can contact you about the job. Providers handle information they receive under their own privacy practices. Account and listing details are used to operate the directory, review submissions and provide paid features where selected. Listing details you choose to publish are visible to visitors.
Hosting, database, customer-management, analytics, communications and payment services process information needed for those functions, including Netlify, Supabase, GoHighLevel, Google and Stripe where used. Some processing may occur outside Australia. Records are kept as needed for enquiries, accounts, support, security, transactions and legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified where practical.
Your choices
You can request access, correction or deletion of personal information, subject to any records that must be kept. To make a privacy request, use the site enquiry form and write “Privacy request” in the message; no advertising purchase is required. You can manage cookies through your browser, although blocking storage may affect sign-in. If a privacy concern remains unresolved, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner explains how to make a complaint.
